Probus (an abbreviation of the words PROfessional and BUSiness) is an association of retired and semi-retired persons who are members of Probus Clubs throughout the world. Probus Clubs offer membership to any persons who have held positions of responsibility in a wide rage of occupations.

Probus Clubs provide for regular gatherings of members who, in retirement, share common interests and enjoy meeting others in similar circumstances. Membership fosters goodwill and companionship and ensures for Probus a firmly established place in the local community.
