The Battle of Waterloo Re-enactment

‘This year Wellington Country Park hosts its largest ever Battle of Waterloo re-enactment.

Set in the beautiful setting of Waterloo Meadow on the 12/13th April, around 100 participants will take part with both English and French Brigades performing drill and full battle displays, with canon fire. In addition on the Sunday, the Royal Dragoons join the event performing mounted drill displays and skill at arms involving  shooting flintlock pistols from horseback and using their fearsome 1796 heavy cavalry sabres to attack targets-all at the gallop.

So to experience all the sights, sounds and smells of true combat come and join us at Wellington Country park on 12/13th of April.’
