Dear Sir/Madam,
POTHOLE COMPLAINT - FLEET
My car is currently at Ravenscroft Garage in Fleet, due to hitting a
pothole located at the roundabout
as you enter Zebon Copse, Crookham Village end, on the 5th April 2018.
I am flabbergasted that in this stone age we should have to adhere to
such damage. Having been
driven round Fleet while being given lifts to and from work, I have
noticed how many dreadful
potholes there are in Fleet.
For example, in Branksomewood Road there is a huge deep one in the
middle of the road, and Kings
Road is particularly bad. I have photos of the pothole my car hit and
also the one in
Branksomewood Road. Drivers should not have to try and avoid potholes as
this could cause crashes
trying to avoid them, so this means our cars get damaged in the meantime
until the roads in Fleet
are repaired.
Considering how much council tax we pay, why is this money not being
used to repair the roads in
Fleet? We were given warnings about the bad weather, so there is no
excuse for these roads being
in this bad state and consequently damaging cars/people.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
Fiona Bailey

Dear Sir/Madam,
POTHOLE COMPLAINT – FLEET - AGAIN
In a follow up from my letter sent to you on the 17th April 2018, to
which I have had no reply or
acknowledgement, this is to inform you that my car bill currently stands
at £801.00. My car is still at
Ravenscroft garage, as they have discovered another issue with the car
due to the pothole. The
likelihood is that the bill will go over £1,000 by next week, when they
have given me an estimated
cost of the part. I will be sending the final bill to the Hart District
Council once this is sent to me.
I see that none of the potholes mentioned in my previous letter have
been taken care of.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
Fiona Bailey |
