Still to object? Then consider this:

Public concern is in principle a material planning consideration, so the more objections received the better. Further objections will count and it is worth a little effort now to avoid the dire consequences of The Pyestock Horror later.

It is important for everyone who is concerned about this development to object, ensuring the members of the Planning Committee are aware of growing local public concern.

Objections can be from individual members of the family or household and also if you live outside the Hart area. Southwood and Cove residents will suffer most of the traffic implications. The implications will not only impact on our corner of North East Hampshire but also neighbouring Surrey and Berkshire borders.

·        Do you want to live near Britain’s Biggest Buildings- a shed - operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week?

·        Are you concerned that the environmentally damaging Mega Depot will be too close to residential areas and Fleet Pond Nature Reserve?

·        Are you worried about the impact of a lorry movement every minute x 24 hours per day x 7 days per week (24x7)?

·        How will our local already-congested single carriageway roads cope?

·        Will there be dangerous queuing on and off the M3 Motorway at J4A?

·        Tesco Thurrock’s Distribution Centre is only 33% of the proposed Pyestock Horror and generates one HGV movement every minute 24 x 7. So how many do you think the Pyestock Horror will generate?

·        The developer states there will be 1,800 employees commuting to and from the site. Tesco Thurrock mega depot uses 1,100 employees and is only 1/3 of the size. How many will the Pyestock Horror really employ and how many of them will be part time adding to the overall total?

·        Farnborough Business Park development will employ 6,000 staff, how will our roads cope?

·        Are you concerned that the Pyestock Horror will spoil your quality of life?
